The BEAWorld 2007 San Francisco event has now concluded. The BEAWorld

Systems
Alfred
Chuang, who founded BEA Systems in early 1995 with Bill Coleman and Ed Scott,
had managed just about every aspect of BEA by the time he became CEO in October
2001. He had led the areas of finance, sales, services, engineering, product
development, MIS, corporate development, business planning, developer services,
human resources and global operations. He had been BEAs chief technology
officer, executive vice president of product development, president of BEA
WebXpress, president of business operations, and president and chief operating
officer. In August 2002, in addition to CEO, Mr. Chuang became BEAs chairman of
the board.

the MP3 Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer,
Comcast Cable Communications, LLC
Andrew Baer serves as Senior Vice President and Chief
Information Officer for Comcast Cable Communications, LLC. In this role, he is
responsible for developing Comcasts internal Information Technology IT
strategy that aligns technology to meet overall business needs and objectives,
including oversight of the companys customer care, billing and ordering
systems data centers desktops internal telephony and other corporate
systems. He also oversees the integration of the IT organizations in former Time
Warner and Adelphia cable systems recently acquired by Comcast.
Prior to joining Comcast, Andrew most recently served as Vice President of
Business Platform Services for AOL in Dulles, VA, where he managed several of
the information technology initiatives required to transition a subscriberbased
ISP to a premium services and advertisingdriven web portal company. A 20year
veteran of the IT sector, he also served as Chief Information Officer for
Verestar and Vice President of Customer Care Systems for Verizon.
An MBA graduate from Cornell University, Andrew also holds a BS in Finance
and Economics from the University of Maryland.
David Buckholtz    View

Quality, Sony Pictures Entertainment
David Buckholtz is VicePresident of Planning, Enterprise
Architecture, and Quality at Sony Pictures Entertainment SPE. Reporting to the
CIO, he is responsible for technology strategy, standards, and methods in
support of improving systems capability and leverage across the studio. He also
manages IT governance, global sourcing, service management, organizational
development, quality assurance, and production acceptance teams, as well as
strategic planning and cooperation with sister and parent Sony
organizations.
Jeffrey M. Marshall    View

MP3 CIO, Kohls Department Stores
Mr. Marshall joined Kohls Department Stores as Senior Vice
President/CIO in May 2005. Prior to this he was the Senior Vice President and
CIO of The Mens Wearhouse. During his ten years there he held the positions of
Vice President and CIO, and President of their newly formed Corporate Apparel
Division. The Mens Wearhouse recruited him from Icon Network Services to
enhance their strategic information and technology initiatives.
Before founding Icon Network Services, Mr. Marshall was the Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer of Johnson Controls Network Services
where he helped to build a nationwide network service company.
Mr. Marshall has also held Senior Management positions at United
Telecommunication/Sprint, Prime Computer and Honeywell Information Systems.
He is a graduate of Columbia University and Juilliard School of Music. He is
Vice Chairman of the National Retail Federations Information and Technology
Council, and a member of the CIO Executive Forum.
