YOUR VOTE AT WORK FOR EDUCATION

A county wide public vote in 2009 created the elected position of School Board Chairman. Candidates running for this position include Homer Hartage , Leona Rachman and Bill Sublette. The primary election for this nonpartisan position is scheduled to be held on August 24, 2010.

On August 5th you will be able to meet face to face with the candidates running for School Board Chairman and listen to them answer questions – submitted by YOU regarding the issues you feel are most important to the Down syndrome and Autism communities.

The top questions submitted by the public will be the center of discussion moderated by Scott Maxwell of the Orlando Sentinel *Questions may be submitted until July 27, 2010 at www.dsfflorida.org

This is a one of a kind event because the entire night will be dedicated to addressing educational concerns related to children with an IEP.
